✽ Bespoke Animal Sculptures for Hotels, Restaurants & Concept Stores

Some spaces are forgotten the moment you leave them. Others stay with you forever.

The difference is rarely the furniture. It is rarely the lighting. It is that one singular piece — unexpected, alive, impossible to ignore — that plants itself in the memory of every person who walks through the door.

Dream Animals is a bespoke animal sculpture service, handcrafted in papier-mâché by French artist Mathilde Blum, designed for hotels, restaurants, bistros and concept stores that refuse to look like everywhere else.

Each piece is a custom decorative sculpture, conceived for a specific space, a specific identity, a specific story. Sized to command attention. Made to be remembered.

✽ A sculpture that works as hard as you do

A Dream Animals sculpture is not decoration in the passive sense. It is a statement piece — the kind that stops people on the pavement, pulls them through the door, and gives them something to photograph, share, and talk about long after they have left.

Placed above a restaurant fireplace, mounted on the wall of a boutique hotel lobby, or presiding over the entrance of a concept store, a large-format animal sculpture by Mathilde Blum becomes the visual signature of your space.

Your guests will remember the place. They will come back. They will bring others.

✽ Every piece begins with a conversation

No two spaces are the same, and no two Dream Animals sculptures are the same.

The process begins with a dedicated videoconference to understand your vision, your aesthetic, your clientele. Whenever possible, Mathilde will visit your space in person — to feel the proportions, absorb the atmosphere, understand what the room is asking for.

From this dialogue emerges a sculpture designed specifically for you : the animal, its posture, its symbolic details, its dimensions — all chosen with intention. Unusual requests are not only welcome, they are encouraged. Scale, accessories, accompanying figures, integrated motifs — every element can be discussed and adjusted.

✽ Full transparency, from first sketch to final installation

A clear and detailed written offer is provided before any work begins. Every line is explained : the dimensions, the number of working hours, the accessories, any additional animal figures. No surprises. No ambiguity. Just the quiet confidence that comes from knowing exactly what you are commissioning and why it is worth it.

Sculptures start from €2,000. Final pricing depends on size, complexity and the specific elements selected — all communicated transparently on your personalised quote.

✽ What a Dream Animals sculpture can be

A monumental stag head crowning the fireplace of an alpine chalet hotel. A life-sized heron presiding serenely over the entrance of a Japanese-inspired restaurant. A family of foxes winding their way across the wall of a children's concept store. A wild boar, flower-crowned and magnificent, watching over a Burgundian wine bar.

The animal kingdom is vast. Your imagination sets the limits.

Each Dream Animals sculpture is a unique work, conceived with the same rigour and poetry that defines every piece created in Mathilde Blum's Dijon studio.

It cannot be duplicated. It cannot be ordered from a catalogue. It exists for you, and for your space, alone.
